This page explains what information WOM.AI collects when you use this website, why we collect it, what we do with it, and the rights you have over it. Plain English, no fine print.
Who We Are
WOM.AI is the trade name of WOM.AI LLC, a California limited liability company based in San Diego. References to "we," "us," "WOM.AI," or "the company" in this policy mean WOM.AI LLC. You can reach us by email at [email protected].
What We Collect
The only personal information we collect from this website is what you choose to send us through the "Book a Free Assessment" form. That is:
- Name (required)
- Email address (required)
- Phone number (optional)
- Website (optional)
- The message you send us (required)
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers on this site. We do not collect location data, device identifiers, or anything else automatically.
Why We Collect It
We use the information you submit for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, if you want, to schedule and conduct a free assessment of your business. That is the entire point.
How It Travels
When you submit the form, your information passes through these services on its way to our inbox:
- Cloudflare Workers (our form endpoint) processes the submission and forwards it on. Cloudflare's privacy practices are described at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Resend (our email delivery service) sends the form contents to our email address. Resend's privacy practices are at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Google Gmail hosts our destination inbox.
These services act as data processors for us. They do not use your information for their own purposes.
Who We Share It With
No one, beyond the processors above. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing. The only exceptions are if we are legally required to disclose it (subpoena, court order), or if you give us explicit permission.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your inquiry in our inbox as long as it is reasonably useful for the conversation, then we archive or delete it. If you ask us to delete your information, we do so within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain it.
Your California Privacy Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the following rights regarding their personal information:
- Right to know what personal information we have about you.
- Right to delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information, so this right is preserved by default.
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request." We will respond within 45 days.
Children's Privacy
This site is intended for business owners and operators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
Email Communications
When we email you in response to your inquiry, our messages comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act. Every email identifies us as the sender, includes our physical mailing address, and gives you a clear way to ask us to stop contacting you. We do not add you to a mailing list without your explicit consent.
Security
We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information in transit and at rest, including TLS encryption for form submissions, HMAC-signed requests at the form endpoint, and origin-restricted processing. No system on the internet is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we treat your information with the care we would want for our own.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes will be flagged in a banner on the website for a reasonable period after the change.
Questions
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy question" and we will respond.
